1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as "general conditions") exclusively govern the contractual relationship between any customer using the Alquimia do Corpo website (hereinafter referred to as "user") and Alquimia do Corpo Cosméticos Lda, with a share capital of €25,000, headquartered at Avenida da Liberdade, Nº 28 1-E, Monte Abraão 2745-297 Queluz, registered at the Lisbon Commercial Registry, VAT number 515 017 280 (hereinafter referred to as "Alquimia do Corpo").
The general terms of sale are the only ones applicable and replace all other conditions, except by prior written agreement. Alquimia do Corpo may, from time to time, modify certain provisions of its general terms, which must be reviewed with each visit to the Alquimia do Corpo website (hereinafter referred to as "Site"). We consider that, when an order is validated, the customer automatically accepts our general terms of sale.
By accessing the site, the customer agrees to comply with the General Terms as well as the Terms of Use.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Always read the product usage instructions carefully. In case of doubt, use the contact form and send a message before any use.
The product images are not contractual and do not represent any commitment by Alquimia do Corpo. Furthermore, regarding the technical data sheets and product descriptions provided by our partners or suppliers, Alquimia do Corpo declines any responsibility for the validity of their content.
Accessories included in packs sold by Alquimia do Corpo may be compatible accessories and not necessarily from the equipment manufacturers' brands.
4. PRICES
The sale prices displayed on the site are in Euros, including taxes and VAT. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are charged at the end of the order, depending on the selected products, their weights, and the delivery address.
Alquimia do Corpo reserves the right to change prices at any time, but will apply the rates in effect at the time the customer places the order.
If the indicated price is incorrect and manifestly negligible, regardless of its cause (computer bug, manual error, technical error, etc.), the order will be canceled, even if it has already been confirmed and paid for.
Promotions displayed on the Alquimia do Corpo website are exclusive to online purchases; orders placed in physical stores, via social networks, or other digital platforms are not covered.
5. STOCKS AND AVAILABILITY
Alquimia do Corpo respects the delivery times of an order provided stock is available.
If one of the ordered products is not available in stock, Alquimia do Corpo will contact the customer by email or phone within a maximum of 15 days from the order date, to inform the new delivery time. However, if one of the ordered products is unavailable, Alquimia do Corpo commits to sending the available products and waiving the "delivery fee" for the remainder of the order if the missing product is unavailable for an indefinite period.
Alquimia do Corpo requests that the customer choose, as a replacement for the unavailable product, one of equivalent quality and price. If the customer refuses, Alquimia do Corpo will proceed with a full refund of the product's value.
6. DELIVERY METHODS
Products purchased on the Site are delivered to the address indicated in Mainland Portugal via a carrier or at our physical store. Alquimia do Corpo does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the customer at the time of purchase.
Orders for in-store pickup can only be collected after receiving the email notification stating that the order is "Available for Collection."
Urgent orders are not accepted via the website; online orders require 24 to 72 hours of preparation.
The delivery contribution, in addition to the product price, will be calculated automatically by the system. In case of non-receipt within the indicated timeframe, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier, which may take several days. The Customer must contact Alquimia do Corpo’s Customer Service, and during this period no refund can be made until the loss is verified and confirmed.
The customer has 24 hours after receiving the order to report any anomaly to our Customer Service by calling +351 211 932 677. Alquimia do Corpo is not responsible for any problems arising during transportation. Refunds or replacements will be refused if defects are reported after the 24-hour period, except for technical issues detected post-delivery as provided by law.
Upon delivery:
1. Check if the package is in perfect condition.
2. Verify if the product matches the order and has no visible defects.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are automatically calculated before finalizing the order, based on products and weights (real or volumetric).
By finalizing the order, the customer accepts the calculated shipping costs.
All prices include VAT at the legal rate.
7. DELIVERY TIMES
7.1 Delivery times
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on the chosen shipping method:
In-store pickup: Between 3 to 5 business days*. Due to carrier limitations, delivery times may be longer than usual.
Home delivery: Between 1 to 3 business days within Mainland Portugal*
* Currently, we do not ship to the islands (Azores and Madeira).
After payment, the dispatch time is up to 2 business days. Shipping times may be slightly delayed during peak periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, or Fairs.

8. SECURE PAYMENT
Alquimia do Corpo ensures secure payments through partners that guarantee encrypted connections for online transactions.
The payment security symbol means your payment is secure. The names of our partners may appear on your bank statement.

If security agents or our security department suspect fraud, Alquimia do Corpo reserves the right to cancel the transaction.

The customer has 3 days after placing the order to make payment via ATM.
The validation period for payments through Multibanco is 1 to 2 days.

9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL – SATISFIED OR REFUNDED
Within a maximum of 14 days after receiving the order, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
The customer may be held responsible for depreciation of the goods if handling goes beyond what is usually acceptable in a commercial establishment.
Excluded from the right of withdrawal:
- Incomplete, damaged, or used products;
- Goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalized;
- Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened after delivery.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, Alquimia do Corpo will endeavor to refund the customer as quickly as possible, subject to technical evaluations of the returned goods, within a maximum of 15 days after arrival at Alquimia do Corpo.
The warranty does not cover issues caused by external factors (accident, power surge, lightning, etc.), incorrect installation, or misuse.
10. EXCHANGES OR RETURNS
To exchange an item, the customer may:
- Contact Customer Service via phone or email ("Contact Us" tab). Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- Go directly to one of our stores with the invoice to return the product. The return will be subject to staff verification.
Conditions for exchanges/returns:
- Within 14 days of purchase;
- Present invoice/receipt;
- Product unused, in original packaging, with accessories/manuals included.
Refunds are always made by the original payment method or as agreed with Alquimia do Corpo.
We do not exchange used or unsealed products, scissors, hygiene items, furniture/catalog items, personalized products, or products in poor condition.
In case of defect or non-conformity, the exchange may be subject to official brand technical assessment.
11. PRODUCT WARRANTY
All products are covered by commercial guarantees as defined below, without prejudice to the legal warranty of conformity for goods sold by Alquimia do Corpo.
Alquimia do Corpo guarantees to deliver orders in accordance with the sales contract and to correct any conformity defects existing at delivery.
Products must:
1) Match the description on the site at the time of order;
2) Be suitable for their intended use or any special use requested by the customer and accepted by Alquimia do Corpo;
3) Have the usual quality and performance of similar products expected by consumers.
Defects reported within 3 years from delivery are covered by the legal warranty.
Legal warranty may not apply in cases such as:
- Damage caused externally (accidents, shocks, power surges, oxidation, sand, etc.);
- Customer misuse, incorrect installation, or harmful use;
- Known defects at time of purchase.
Warranty periods for electrical equipment:
Consumers: 36 months
Businesses/professionals: 6 months (per Article 921, Civil Code).
Consumables, components, and accessories have the manufacturer’s stated warranty.
Within warranty: Repairs must be completed within 30 days. Official brand representatives handle technical assistance. If excluded, repair costs are borne by the customer, subject to written approval of a quotation. Refusal incurs a €15 diagnostic fee (incl. VAT).
Outside warranty: Repairs are subject to analysis and quotation. A €15 fee (incl. VAT) is charged, deductible if repair is approved.
Abandoned equipment: Customers are notified via SMS/email once repairs are ready. Items uncollected within 90 days are considered abandoned and sent for recycling.

12. DISPUTES AND LIABILITY
12.1 Consumer Disputes
In case of consumer disputes, customers may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or other recognized consumer dispute resolution entities.

12.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes regarding interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Alquimia do Corpo’s headquarters.
12.3 Liability
Alquimia do Corpo is not liable for delays or non-performance due to force majeure (strikes, postal/transport disruptions, floods, fires, wars, etc.). We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, or costs resulting from product purchases.
Misuse, improper use, or normal wear and tear are the customer’s responsibility. Customers must read usage instructions carefully to ensure proper application. Orders must match the customer’s request. Compliance with Portuguese Law nº24/96 and Decree-Law nº 67/2003 applies.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content of the Alquimia do Corpo Site (illustrations, texts, titles, brands, images, videos) is the property of Alquimia do Corpo, its contractors, or partners. Reproduction, in whole or in part, by any means or medium, requires prior written authorization from Alquimia do Corpo. All information, content, documents, and software offered are protected by Portuguese and international intellectual property and copyright laws. Unauthorized use of third-party rights constitutes infringement, punishable under the Intellectual Property Code. Alquimia do Corpo is not responsible for user violations of third-party rights through activities on the site.
